Grainger Board Chairman Announces Retirement

W.W. Grainger Inc. has announced the retirement of Jim Ryan from his position as chairman of the company’s board of directors, effective October 1.
Ryan is retiring from Grainger after nearly 37 years of service, including eight as CEO. DG Macpherson, current CEO of Grainger, will succeed Ryan as chairman of the board.
