Green Seal CEO Testifies in Support of Maryland Bill

Doug Gatlin, CEO of Green Seal®, recently testified before the Maryland House of Representatives in support of House Bill 896.

The proposed legislation calls for the creation of a statewide green business certification program. According to Gatlin, the bill would encourage Maryland business to participate in credible third-party certifications that independently verify sustainability measures. If approved, the legislation would mirror the Green Business Certification Program (GBC) established in Montgomery County, Maryland.
