HFI Announces 2017 Healthy School Award Winners

The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) has announced the winners of its 2017 Healthy School Awards.

HFI selected the winning applicants based on the organization’s commitment to facility health and factors such as indoor air quality, chemical and sound levels, water quality, ergonomics, and pest management.

Aurora Public Schools of Aurora, CO, received the Gold Award, HFI’s highest honor. Elk Grove Unified School District of Elk Grove, CA, and Hawaii Preparatory Academy of Kamuela, HI, received Silver and Healthy Facilities Advocate Awards, respectively.
