HFM Earns CIMS Certification With Honors

March 17, 2021 HFM Earns CIMS Certification With Honors

Harrison Facilities Management Group Ltd. (HFM) recently certified to the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) with Honors designation. The certification is valid for two years.

Developed by ISSA, CIMS is a comprehensive management and operations standard for cleaning organizations globally, and a game-changer for facility managers and cleaning business owners working in a competitive marketplace.

Established in 2014, HFM is a Derby, United Kingdom-based cleaning services contractor. The company delivers cleaning and facility management services to approximately 40 sites in the North and East Midlands regions of England. HFM is led by Russell Harrison, managing director, and two other directors, Tom Marples and Dave Allen.

To earn CIMS certification, HFM underwent a comprehensive assessment by a third-party CIMS-accredited auditor. During the audit, HFM demonstrated to have in place the processes, policies, and management style needed to be professional, reliable, profitable, and sustainable in the long term, as well as the appropriate structure to deliver operational excellence.

“During the two days I spent on the audit I met all of HFM’s directors who are passionate about the company and also its clients,” said Pete Gowers, CIMS auditor. “Special thanks to the management team who has invested a lot of time into this CIMS project. CIMS has highlighted areas that the company could further enhance. The result has been successful, and I am pleased to confirm HFM has achieved CIMS Certification with Honors.”

“When a client chooses a CIMS certified company,” said Harrison, ”they are ensuring that they are partnering with a services provider that has proven to deliver consistently high level of services. This is especially important in today’s world, where cleaning and disinfecting require specific, measurable protocols.”
