Industry Loses Former Janitors Supply Co. VP

James B. Gast, former vice president of The Janitors Supply Co., passed away October 20, 2019. He was 81 years old.

Gast was born August 23, 1938, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 1982, along with his brother Ken, he founded Wayne Concept Manufacturing, a full-line chemical manufacturing company. In addition to serving as president of Wayne Concept Manufacturing, Gast also had a tenure as vice president of The Janitors Supply Co. and actively contributed to the cleaning world throughout his 62-year career in the industry. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra “Sam” Gast, and his brother Kenneth Gast.
