ISSA Members Among Newsweek’s Best for Infection Prevention
July 20, 2021Products and services from several ISSA member-companies have been included in Newsweek’s Best Infection Prevention Products 2021.
The publication’s second-annual list was compiled in partnership with the Leapfrog Group, an independent nonprofit that evaluates healthcare facilities and products. The index highlights products the help both patients and health care workers avoid infection based on four criteria— effectiveness, safety, successful real-world implementation, and company stability. Newsweek and the Leapfrog Group also considered evaluations from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) when amassing their list.
The ISSA-affiliated organizations included in the list of Best Infection Prevention Products 2021 include:
