Johnson Controls Contracted by Canadian School District

Johnson Controls, Inc. has secured a contract with the East Central Alberta Catholic Schools (ECACS) in Wainwright, Canada, to implement several energy and facility improvement projects district-wide.
The contract calls for Johnson Controls to upgrade the district’s facilities with an improved energy management system, LED lighting, and updated plumbing fixtures. Based on current energy prices, the deal is expected to reduce energy consumption and save the school district more than US$1 million in energy and operating costs during the next 15 years.
