Johnson Controls Contracted by Mississippi School District

Johnson Controls, Inc. has secured a contract with the Jones County School District in Ellisville, MS, to implement energy and facility improvement projects in several school district buildings.
The contract calls for Johnson Controls to upgrade the district’s three high schools with energy management systems and custom LED lighting. Based on current energy prices, the deal is expected to reduce the county’s energy consumption and save the school district more than US$4.2 million in energy and operating costs during the next 12 years.
