Johnson Controls Nets Partnership With NBA Arena

Johnson Controls, Inc. has entered into a strategic marketing partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The agreement calls for Johnson Controls to serve as the official smart building partner of the Cavalier’s home court, Quicken Loans Arena, which is currently undergoing a major renovation project. Johnson Controls will implement a variety of building technology services throughout the arena to enhance the fan experience, decrease energy usage, and reduce the environmental impact of the 25-year-old facility, located in Cleveland, OH. The arena upgrades are anticipated to be completed by October 2019.
Johnson Controls has also been contracted to provide lifecycle services to the arena’s mechanical systems, as well as building controls, and security and fire monitoring to Quicken Loans Arena and the Cavaliers’ practice facility.
