Johnson Controls Unveils Asia-Pacific Headquarters

Johnson Controls, Inc. has opened a new global corporate headquarters in Shanghai, China.
The facility serves as Johnson Controls’ second global headquarters and services China and the surrounding Asia-Pacific region. The 476,800-square-foot facility features a sustainable design, which has garnered multiple energy efficiency awards, including the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum Certification.
Johnson Controls currently operates more than 60 manufacturing plants in China, and the company has targeted the region as an area of growth, citing the country’s expanding buildings and automotive markets.
