Kimberly-Clark Increases 2nd-Quarter Sales

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, reported second-quarter revenue of US$4.61 billion, an increase from $4.59 billion one year ago.

Kimberly-Clark also reported a quarterly net income of $692 million, or $2.00 per share, up from $495 million, or $1.41 per share, for the same period last year. Sales in the company’s Kimberly-Clark Professional segment decreased 12% from the previous year to $724 million.
