Kimberly-Clark Names Chief Research and Development Officer

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, has appointed Robert Long to the newly created position of chief research and development officer, effective March 15.

Long joins Kimberly-Clark from The Coca-Cola Co., where he held a variety of senior leadership roles throughout his 17-year career. Most recently, Long served as chief innovation officer and senior vice president for global research and development. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Long spent 25 years working on research and development with Procter & Gamble. In his new role with Kimberly-Clark, Long will oversee the company’s international research, development, innovation, and quality efforts.
