Kimberly-Clark Reports Increase in Second-Quarter Income

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, has reported second-quarter net income of US$485 million, or $1.41 per share, up from $455 million, or $1.30 per share, one year earlier.

Kimberly-Clark also reported revenue of $4.59 billion for the quarter, even with sales from the prior year’s first quarter. Sales in the company’s Kimberly-Clark Professional segment dipped 5 percent from the previous year to $821 million.
