LEED Advisory Group Adds Ashkin Group President
February 4, 2021Steve Ashkin, president of The Ashkin Group LLC, has been invited to join the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Indoor Environmental Quality Technical Advisory Group.
The USGBC’s volunteer committee provides guidance on the development and maintenance of the LEED rating system. Ashkin previously provided the USGBC with subject matter guidance on green cleaning.
“Steve and The Ashkin Group have been outstanding partners in helping to evolve and adopt green cleaning guidance in LEED,” said Melissa Baker, senior vice president for Technical Core at USGBC. “Their help has proven invaluable, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re delighted to bring his expertise to our Indoor Environmental Quality Technical Advisory Group.”
