Legionnaires’ Disease Outbreak Strikes Las Vegas Hotel

Southern Nevada Health District officials have linked two reports of Legionnaires’ disease earlier this year to a hotel in Las Vegas, NV.

Health district officials found traces of the bacteria in the hot-water system of one of the towers of the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. The hotel has disinfected its water system with chlorine and relocated any guests impacted by the potentially contaminated water system, CNN reports
