Listeria Concerns Lead to Ice Cream Bar Recall
January 10, 2018Fieldbrook Foods Corp. has issued a voluntary recall for its ice cream bars.
Dunkirk, NY- based Fieldbrook issued the recall after random product testing revealed traces of the bacteria. The recall applies to all orange cream bars and chocolate-coated vanilla ice cream bars manufactured by the company in 2017. The potentially infected ice cream bars were distributed to retailers nationwide.
Fieldbrook is working with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to determine the source of the bacteria. So far, no reports of illness have been linked to the ice cream bars.
