Advanced Fresh Concepts Franchise Corp. has issued a voluntary recall for its Edamame Soybeans in Pods due to the risk of listeria contamination.

The California-based Advanced Fresh Concepts issued the recall after random quality assurance testing revealed traces of the bacteria. The refrigerated packages of edamame were shipped to cafeterias, corporate dining centers, and retail locations in 33 states.
