Medline Expands Operations in New England

Medline Industries Inc. has opened a new  US$90 million medical-grade distribution center in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.

The 820,000 square-foot facility features an advanced, hands-free robotic product-picking system and an energy efficient and LEED-certified design. The new distribution center allows Medline to add another 150 new employees to its existing 250-member team, allowing the company to better service its clients in New England.

“We are excited about our new home in Uxbridge, which is an ideal location to serve our customers,” said Bill Abington, Medline executive vice president for global operations. “At this site we have the benefit of retaining all of our existing team members, while gaining access to more local talent.”
