Michigan Colleges Recognized for Green Cleaning Programs

Western Michigan University and University of Michigan have been named recipients of the American School and University Green Cleaning Awards.

The annual awards program recognized the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard-certified organizations for implementing sustainable and environmentally friendly cleaning processes. Kalamazoo, MI-based Western Michigan University received the highest honor, the 2017 Grand Award, while Ann Arbor’s University of Michigan ranked second, The Western Herald reports.
