September 16, 2019 Mitie CFO Resigns

Mitie Group Plc, a British outsourcing group, announced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Paul Woolf has resigned, Reuters reports.

Woolf, who joined the company in 2017, is expected to leave Mitie in January 2020 and take his new post as CFO at CPA Global, an intellectual property management company, in February.

Mitie Chairman Derek Mapp said in a statement, “Paul has been hugely supportive in the turn-around of Mitie, bringing in new financial disciplines and helping restore investor confidence. 

Mitie hasn’t announced an appointment of Wolf’s successor.

In August, Mitie entered into an agreement to sell its catering and hospitality business to CH&CO for a consideration of up to US$103 million. The transaction includes Mitie’s Gather & Gather and Creativevents and is part of the company’s overall strategy to simplify its operations.
