Mitie Locks up Deal With Leicestershire Police

Mitie Group PLC has been awarded a US$2.9 million contract with the Leicestershire, England, police department.
The two-year deal calls for Mitie’s care and custody health division to provide medical screening and assessment services to those in police custody. In addition, the contract, which contains an option for a two-year extension, calls for Mitie to provide forensic medical examination services for assault victims.
