Newell Names New CEO
July 30, 2019Newell Brands Inc., parent company of Rubbermaid Commercial Products, has appointed Ravi Saligram president and CEO effective October 1.
Saligram joins Newell from Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Inc., where he served as CEO and director for more than five years. Prior to his time with Ritchie Bros., Saligram served as CEO of OfficeMax Inc. He succeeds Christopher Peterson, who had been serving as interim CEO following the retirement of Michael Polk earlier this year.
