P&G Reports Raise in 2nd-Quarter Sales

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professionalhas reported a fiscal-fourth-quarter revenue of US$18.24 billion, an increase of 5% from a year earlier.

The company reported an operating income of $4.4 billion up from $3.9 billion a year earlier. Net sales for P&G’s health care divisions were up 11%, while sales in its beauty segment grew 5%. The company’s fabric and home care division reported a 3% increase in net sales and its grooming segment raised sales 2%.
