SC Johnson Teams With Habitat for Humanity
February 1, 2021SC Johnson, parent company of SC Johnson Professional, has entered into a partnership with international nonprofit Habitat for Humanity.
The two organizations will work together to provide access to housing and proper water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities for hundreds of families in the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. SC Johnson will contribute US$498,000 to support the initiative as well as employee volunteers in some locations.
“This partnership is an opportunity for us to create pathways to greater economic and social mobility for underserved communities where we operate through Habitat for Humanity’s vast network and expertise,” said Alan VanderMolen, SC Johnson senior vice president and chief communications officer. “Clean drinking water and having a healthy place to call home are essential needs for every family, and we are honored to be able to support Habitat for Humanity’s efforts.”
