SCA Shareholders Approve Company Split

SCA’s shareholders have approved the company’s board of director’s proposal to split the company into two separately listed companies.
SCA’s board proposed the split in August 2016. The company’s forest products will continue as SCA while its hygiene, personal care, and tissue divisions will operate as a separate entity known as Essity. SCA anticipates the division to be complete by the second half of this year.
