Sodexo Awards Culinary Institute of America Scholarships

Sodexo has partnered with the NAACP to provide high school students with scholarships to the Culinary Institute of America (CIA).
The scholarships are part of the NAACP’s ACT-SO initiative (Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics). Hundreds of students from schools nationwide participated in the 41st annual ACT-SO competition earlier this month in Detroit. Sodexo awarded monetary CIA scholarships to 11 students pursuing careers in the culinary arts and hospitality fields. Sodexo has been a supporter of the NAACP’s ACT-SO initiative since 2009.
