Sodexo Deploys Fleet of Delivery Robots at Virginia College

Sodexo has launched a robotic food delivery service at George Mason University’s Fairfax, VA, campus.
Sodexo has teamed with robotics manufacturer Starship Technologies to deploy more than 25 robots that will deliver food and drinks to the campus’ 40,000 students and faculty members. Users place an order through a dedicated phone app for the school’s Sodexo-branded campus grocery store, Starbucks, Dunkin’, and other retail locations and within minutes their order is delivered by a self-driving robot. Sodexo’s program is the largest implementation of autonomous robot food delivery services on a university campus.
