Sodexo Earns ISO 45001 Certification

November 23, 2020 Sodexo Earns ISO 45001 Certification

Sodexo announced its Service Operations HSE department and HSE governance team earned the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems certification from NSF-International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR).

The ISO 45001 standard offers guidance that enables organizations to increase safety and health in the workplace by preventing work-related injuries and illnesses.

“We are very proud to have achieved certification to the world’s first global occupational health and safety management system standard,” said Brigette Philpot, Sodexo’s North America vice president of Health, Safety, and Environment. “Achieving the ISO 45001 was a rigorous and in-depth process, requiring the participation of our governance HSE team including interviewing managers and health care providers. This achievement represents strong, third-party validation of Sodexo’s longstanding commitment to the health and safety of our employees.”
