Spartan Announces Winner of BSCAI Scholarship

Genesis Torres-Romero has been awarded the 2019 Building Service Contractors Association International’s (BSCAI) Stephen H. Swigart Scholarship for Higher Education.

The inaugural scholarship program, established by Spartan Chemical Co. Inc., recognizes  one student each year who meets or exceeds standards set by the BSCAI committee. The scholarship is valued at a maximum of US$3,000 and is named after Stephen H. Swigart, Spartan CEO and chairman of the board. Torres-Romero will utilize the funds to support her studies in general engineering at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) in Annandale, Virginia.
