Staples Names Head of Information Security

Staples, Inc. has appointed Brett Wahlin to its newly created chief information security officer (CISO) position.

Wahlin joins Staples from Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. where he served as vice president and CISO. A former U.S. Army counterintelligence officer, Wahlin also has served as chief security officer for Sony Network Entertainment International, LLC and McAfee, Inc., CSO reports.
