State Industrial Operating Ohio Factory Around the Clock
March 24, 2020State Industrial Products has shifted the operating hours of its Hebron, Ohio, production facility to manufacture 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The shift in production is to meet the higher demand for cleaning and janitorial products due to the COVID-19 crisis. According to Keith Lewis, president of marketing for State Industrial, demand for the company’s products has increased twentyfold in recent weeks.
“We’ve been classified as an essential business by the Department of Homeland Security,” said Lewis to WEWS-TV. “This allows our associates to continue to support hospitals, first responders, and other essential businesses.”
