Tork Offers Tips to Improve Hand Hygiene

October 13, 2017

According to a recent poll in the Tork Office Trend Report, 79 percent of workers would inform their facility manager if they weren’t satisfied with the hygiene products available to them at work.

With the advent of cold and flu season, and in honor of National Handwashing Day on October 15, Essity, parent company of Tork, offers steps facility managers can take to help keep employees and tenants healthy:

  • Post signs in restrooms reminding visitors to wash their hands.
  • Provide signage and handwashing supplies in all employee dining areas, and other locations where sinks are located. Equip janitorial teams with hand sanitizing and surface disinfecting products.
  • Ensure your facility is fully stocked with soap and hand towels to provide an efficient hand washing experience and track your supply levels.
  • Have your employees and tenants take an online quiz to see how their hygiene habits measure up: How Clean Are Your Hands – Really?
