Veritiv Appoints COO

Veritiv Corp. has appointed Sal Abbate chief operating officer (COO), effective January 1, 2020.

Abbate has been with Veritiv since 2018 and currently serves as the company’s chief commercial officer.  In addition, Veritiv announced Tom Lazzaro, the company’s current senior vice president of sales, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities, OPI reports. Lazzaro will work through March 31, 2020 to ensure a smooth transition.
