3M Names Michael Roman CEO

3M has appointed Michael Roman CEO, effective July 1.
Roman has been with 3M for more than three decades. He has served as chief operating officer and executive vice president since July 2017. Roman succeeds Inge Thulin, who will transition into the newly created position of executive chairman of the board after serving as CEO and president since 2012.
