Aramark Increases 1st-Quarter Sales 8%

Aramark has reported fiscal first-quarter sales of US$4.26 billion, an increase of 8 percent year-over-year.
For the quarter, Aramark reported an adjusted net income of $160 million, or $0.63 per share, up from $139 million, or $0.55 per share, one year earlier. Aramark’s largest segment, North America food and support services, reported sales of $2.66 billion, while the uniform and career apparel division boosted revenue 62 percent to $652 million.
