CIRI Announces New Mission Statement
April 24, 2018The Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI) has released an updated vision and mission statement.
The institute’s new vision states “CIRI is the clearinghouse for unbiased, peer-reviewed technical information and research about the science of cleaning or restoration of the indoor environment.”
CIRI’s new mission statement is “Working with and through its members, CIRI communicates unbiased, peer-reviewed technical information and research about the science of cleaning or restoration of the indoor environment to all interested stakeholders.”
In addition, CIRI announced it is launching a peer-review journal slated to begin publication by the fall of this year.

The Cleaning Industry Research Institute’s (CIRI) mission is to raise awareness about the importance of cleaning through scientific research. Its goal is to expand on existing research, help its members to be more effective, improve people’s understanding about the importance of cleaning, and influence the development of public policy.
