June 13, 2017 Dow Receives Sustainable Chemistry Award

Dow Chemical Co. has been named a recipient of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s 2017 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award.

First introduced in 1996, the EPA’s award honors companies for engineering more sustainable chemicals, processes, and products. Dow was recognized in the greener chemicals category for its ROPAQUE™ NT-2900 Opaque Polymer for BLUE 4EST™ Thermal Paper, which the company developed with the Koehler Paper Group.

This marks the 11th Presidential Green Chemistry Award Dow has received since the program’s inception.
