Ecolab 2nd-Quarter Profit Jumps 15%

Ecolab, Inc. has declared a fiscal second-quarter profit of US$297 million, or $1.01 per share, up 15 percent from one year earlier.
The company reported second-quarter revenues of $3.46 billion, an increase of 4 percent compared to the same period one year ago. Ecolab’s institutional segment improved sales 8 percent for the quarter.
