Ecolab Appoints New President

Ecolab, Inc. has appointed Christophe Beck president and chief operating officer (COO) effective April 1.
Beck has been with Ecolab since 2007 and currently serves as executive vice president and president of the company’s global industrial group. He succeeds Thomas Handley, who is retiring at the end of the year. Until his retirement, Handley will lead the previously announced spinoff of Ecolab’s Upstream Energy division.
