First CIMS Expert Class in the Middle East

ISSA welcomed its first seven Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Experts into its growing global family this past month after conducting its first workshop in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The newly certified cleaning professionals are all from Dubai-based Total Facilities Management Division of Farnek Services LLC and include:
- Serah Ngunya
- Jorge Moura
- Naveed Ahmed
- Babar Hussain
- Syed Usman
- Alex Kaggwa
- Pukar Zimba.
All seven of the Industry Certification Experts (I.C.E.) are versed in both CIMS and CIMS-Green Building (GB) standards. Organizations that wish to certify to CIMS are able to prove, through third-party audits, their ability to properly manage cleaning operations set for the industry. CIMS-GB helps cleaning organizations gain points under the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance rating system which facility owners are increasingly more interested in achieving in the Middle East.
