Georgia-Pacific Divests European Nonwovens Division
June 19, 2018Georgia-Pacific, LLC, parent company of Georgia-Pacific Professional, has sold its European nonwovens business segment, Georgia-Pacific Steinfurt GmbH, to Glatfelter.
The US$185 million deal includes Georgia-Pacific’s production facility in Steinfurt, Germany, as well as its offices in France and Italy. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be finalized by the end of the year.
