Grainger Increases 2nd-Quarter Sales 2%

W.W. Grainger, Inc. has reported second-quarter sales of US$2.6 billion, an increase of 2 percent year-over-year.
Grainger’s U.S. sales, which account for the majority of the company’s total revenue, increased 1 percent. Sales in the company’s Canada division decreased 2 percent while the company’s Other Businesses segment, which includes its operations in Asia, Europe, and Latin America, saw sales increase 11 percent compared to the same time period last year.
