HAI Prevention Market Poised to Grow

The global market for health care-associated infection (HAI) prevention and control is expected to reach US$245.6 million by 2024 with a compounded annual growth rate—or CAGR—of 6.3 percent, according to a new study from market research firm Credence Research.

According to the report, the HAI prevention market had a $142.6 million market value. The study predicts growth to be spurred by recent increases in the number of hospitals worldwide, the number of infections, the level of hospital infrastructure in developing countries, and the severity of rules governing HAI prevention and control.
