Johnson Controls, Inc. has donated US$1 million to the proposed International African American Museum (IAAM) in Charleston, SC.

Johnson Controls’ donation will be used to fund the museum’s Center for Family History, a genealogy archive that will provide DNA testing aimed at helping individuals tracing their family ancestry. The $75 million museum is expected to open in 2020, The Post and Courier reports.
