April 29, 2019 Johnson Controls Partners With Department of Energy

Johnson Controls, Inc. has entered into a partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) National Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL).

The two organizations will team together as part of the Building Data Donation campaign. Customers of Johnson Controls’ building management software can volunteer to submit data to the DOE’s research efforts. NREL researchers will then use the data to compile information on dynamic building energy usage based on location, weather, and building type.
