Johnson Controls to Upgrade San Antonio Facility

Johnson Controls, Inc. will invest more than US$7.5 million to upgrade its San Antonio, TX, manufacturing facility.
The investment will be used to renovate the plant’s interior and increase its production capabilities of absorbent glass mat (AGM) batteries. The expansion is part of Johnson Controls’ overall strategy in which the company will invest more than $780 million over the next four years to increase its global production of AGM batteries, The San Antonio Business Journal reports.
