Listeria Concerns Prompt Salad Recall
October 23, 2017Mann Packing Co., Inc. has issued a voluntary recall for its bagged salads and vegetable products.
Salinas, CA-based Mann Packing issued the recall after random product testing by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency revealed traces of the bacteria. The bagged vegetables were shipped to retailers throughout the United States and Canada, including Walmart, Trader Joe’s and Meijer. So far no reports of illness have been linked to potentially contaminated vegetables, CNN reports.
