Listeria Risk Prompts Frozen Waffle Recall

May 10, 2017

Pinnacle Foods, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall for its Aunt Jemima brand frozen breakfast foods due to the risk of listeria contamination.

The New Jersey-based Pinnacle Foods issued the recall after routine testing revealed traces of the bacteria at the company’s production facility. The frozen packages of waffles, pancakes, and French toast were shipped to retailers throughout the United States and Mexico.
