Listeria Risk Sparks Cream Cheese Recall

Panera Bread Co. has issued a voluntary recall for its cream cheese.

Kirkwood, MO-based Panera issued the recall after routine product testing revealed traces of the bacteria. The recall applies to all varieties of the company’s cream cheese with an expiration date on or before April 2, 2018. The potentially tainted cream cheese was shipped to Panera retail locations throughout the United States. So far, no reports of illness have been linked to the cream cheese.
