Listeria Risk Sparks Frozen Vegetable Recall
October 6, 2017Pinnacle Foods, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall for its Birds Eye brand frozen green peas due to the risk of listeria.
The Parsippany, NJ, Pinnacle Foods issued the recall after routine product testing revealed traces of the bacteria. The frozen peas were distributed to retailers nationwide. So far no reports of illness have been linked to potentially contaminated vegetables, The Miami Herald reports.
